Macao International Technology Industry Centre
Background：
In line with the country’s commitment to supporting the scientific and technological innovation and fostering appropriately diversified economic development in Macao, the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has been actively advancing the development of scientific and technological innovation, which includes the planning and construction of the Macao Sci-Tech Park. Before the completion and operation of the Industrial Park, the Macao International Technology Innovation Center served as a pioneering institution. By making optimal use of existing resources, it aims to attract technology enterprises and projects in fields such as biomedicine, integrated circuits, digital technology, and aerospace technology, functioning as a testing ground for industrial development and policy implementation.
Center Overview：
The Macao International Technology Industry Centre (MITIC) is a strategic technological innovation platform established under the guidance of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) of the Macao SAR Government and the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), and operated by the Macao Institute of Industrial Technology. Positioned at the intersection of Chinese and global markets, the Centre fully leverages Macao’s unique advantages as a free port, a World Heritage city, and a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries to connect technology enterprises with international opportunities.
